Suppers were simple at our house last week. It was Liv’s birthday, and she always requests what I call Velvet spaghetti. It is her absolute favorite. I always make Hayden Fettuccine, because he hates red sauce unless it’s on a pizza…..
Cold weather always makes us want soup, so my simple homemade potato soup made the list for the week, along with Banana Nut Bread. Have you tried this yet? It is so, so good! It also freezes well, so I suggest doubling the recipe, so you can have it for the next week. If you can keep people out of it. It’s also good if you toast it!
Did you get snowed in from the Snowpocalypse? We only got about four inches, which added to the 20 or so inches we had in December, means I am more than ready for Spring.
Here are some of the things we ate last week in no particular order:
Velvet spaghetti and Alfredo with Garlic bread and a giant salad.
Sandwich night. Everyone picks out what they want. It’s simple and doesn’t take anytime, which makes me happy.
Fried pork chops, mashed potatoes, green beans and rolls.
Chinese!
Potato soup, bacon and biscuits.
Leftovers and more leftovers. Which is amazing. Everyone picks out their favorite, and we clean out the fridge. Hopefully.
What’s for supper at your house? What are you going to eat this week?
