Wow, can you believe that it’s already May? My mother mentioned once that time sure felt like it was flying and my Papaw Bowen said “Yes, and the older you get the faster it goes”. I just want to slow it down, slightly. Just slightly. Maybe like, from a 45 record to the 33 setting. Did you have a record player like that? I loved mine. I wore out Billy Joel, Michael Jackson, and my Mama’s sixties records. I even had the purple vinyl 45 from Prince’s Purple Rain and many, many others. Yes, I grew up in the eighties. But, we are here to talk about books!!!
Empire of Storms by Sarah J. Maas
This is what I have on my nightstand right now. I just started this book. Do NOT start with this one. This is part of a series called Throne of Glass. It’s from the Young Adult section and I have to say, I LOVED the first book. It’s a great series so far.
I have also been reading from my giant pile of magazines. If you want to start your own magazine pile, all the ones below are on sale right now for $5.00! I love them, I’m sure you will too!
