I LOVE this story. I saw this meme through another blog, Brickworks, and I had to share it today with all of the fur babies that are up for adoption in Las Cruces, where this happened. I hope they are still doing this!

If you can’t afford to gift them with things, donate your time. Our shelter always welcomes people to walk, groom or just sit and talk with the animals.
